WORLD CAT’S NEW 320EC
EXPRESS CABIN
World Cat’s new 320EC will debut in Miami to strong retail demand
TARBORO -- World Class Catamarans will launch the new Flagship of the
World Cat™ fleet, the 320EC Express Cabin, at the Miami International
Boat Show on February 17-21, 2005. Visitors, dealers and the marine
industry press will be given the opportunity to experience the 320EC
with twin Suzuki 250HP Four Strokes in the Suzuki slip at the Marriott
In-water Display.
The 320EC is based on the popular 330TE hull that World Cat released two
years ago, combining the popular ride of the 330TE with luxurious cabin
and cruising comforts for a long-range adventure. It’s patented
Vectorflo™ catamaran hull and 10’6” beam produces a uniquely smooth,
comfortable, and dry ride in rough waters providing an ultra-stable
fishing and cruising platform. The standard features include:
• Full-featured cabin wth master berth; aft quarter berth; galley with
refrigerator, microwave, electric cooktop, and stainless sink; standing
shower and Vacu-Flush head
• Centerline command helm station including deluxe captain's chair with
3-way adjustable pedestal and stand-up bolster, ergonomic dash layout,
dual cabin entry ways featuring bi-fold acrylic doors, port and
starboard L-lounge seats, a 300-quart insulated fishbox, and a full
wrap-around safety glass windshield with windshield wiper.
• Expansive cockpit with molded in rod storage, tackle storage units,
40-gallon insulated re-circulating livewell, insulated bait-prep
station, raw water washdown, freshwater cockpit shower, fighting chair
reinforcement, and toe rail.
• Standard shorepower connections featuring 30-amp service, phone and
cable TV hook ups, AC panel battery charger and cordset.
In 2004, World Cat was a recipient of the NMMA’s CSI Award for
excellence in Customer Satisfaction. “World Cat is passionate about our
customers—they have traditionally driven over 40% of our sales through
referrals and owner upgrades. The CSI Award reflects this commitment to
our customer,” says Pete Peterson, the long-time VP of Marketing for
World Cat.
The catamaran design is one of the oldest in the world. The shallow
draft of the catamaran hull enables access to areas that conventional
hulls cannot reach while the expanded deck area allows for more room and
load capacity. Over the past ten years, power catamarans have emerged as
the intelligent alternative, as more and more consumers discover the
smooth riding comfort and stability of the catamaran design.
World Class Catamarans is the premier manufacturer of power catamarans
boats offering eleven models from 23 to 33 feet in length.
